The main mantra in the office is~ “WORK HARD, PLAY HARD, AND GIVE BACK AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE”
GEM Cares is our opportunity to do just that – to utilize our success, our reach and our resources for a variety of charities that are near and dear to all of us – even a group of underpaid, under-appreciated and overworked school teachers!!! Our philanthropy and our giving spirit knows no bounds . . .
Gem was so happy to be able to give the Epic School a Bretford PowerSync+ Charging Cart as well as 5 Ipad Air 2 Devices.
The PowerSync+ Cart™ sets the new standard with ground-breaking features that allow the school to remotely check connected devices, freeing up time for them to focus on other tasks. It also allows the Epic School to store, charge, sync, and transport their Ipad devices to any room in their building, while keeping their content in sync.
So glad we could help!
In the United States today, more than 3.5 million Americans live with autism. The Educational Partnership for Instructing Children (EPIC) is a local school dedicated to providing educational services for individuals with autism. EPIC uses the highly effective, scientifically documented method of applied behavior analysis to teach new skills and increase independence.
Gem is extremely proud to show ongoing support for the EPIC School. President and CEO Kevin Dalessandro sits on their Business Advisory Council and is excited to help develop a “Customized Employment” program which will help students obtain training opportunities and acquire the skills necessary to be competitively employed after graduation.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS, OCTOBER
If you sat in a crowded room and looked to your left and then to your right, chances are you’ve just laid eyes on someone who has their own story of how breast cancer has affected a special person in their life, if not that person herself.
